High-quality protein, carbohydrate, and fat blends make Mass JYM a premium-level mass gainer.

When I talk about gaining mass or adding size (however you want to say it), I’m ALWAYS talking about lean mass. Building muscle without putting on fat – that’s the goal.

So, when I created Mass JYM, I made sure it was different than any other mass gainer on the market. I remember taking mass gainers when I was younger. They were so full of carbs that you ended up gaining as much body fat as muscle. Who wants that? Not me! Not when I was younger, and certainly not now that I’m in my 50s.

Mass gainers fail in three major areas:

    1. They’re too high in carbs and/or fat.
    2. They use low-quality sources of carbs and fat.
    3. They use low-quality sources of protein.

These were the components I focused on when formulating Mass JYM.

Ideal Carbs-to-Protein Ratio

Most mass gainers have double the amount of carbs as protein. This is the #1 reason these products cause people to gain body fat. Sure, if you’re 16 years old maybe you can get away with super high carbs, but most of us “mature” adults can’t.

Mass JYM has an ideal 1:1 ratio of carbs to protein – 30 grams of carbs, 30 grams of protein. As for fat, I kept that low in Mass JYM (only 5 grams per scoop) to help keep calories in check and the gains lean. You can get your fat intake from whole food sources like eggs, nuts, oils, and fatty fish. I also recommend getting your healthy omega-3 fats from my Omega JYM fish oil.

High-Quality Carbs and Fat

As much as I specialize in protein, I’m very proud of the carb and fat blends I came up with for Mass JYM. I created an optimal 3:1 ratio of low-glycemic to high-glycemic carbs, with the carbs coming primary from pea starch, isomaltulose, and oat fiber. This one-two punch of ideal carb ratio and quality sources promotes lean muscle gains.*

As for fat, there may only be 5 grams of it, but those 5 grams were well thought out on my end. The Mass JYM fat blend is an ideal 1:1:1 ratio of saturated to monounsaturated to polyunsaturated fat (1.3 grams of each), including 1 gram of the highly beneficial omega-6 fat conjugated linoleic acid (CLA). This particular fat blend supports higher testosterone levels for potentially greater muscle gains.*

Award-Winning Protein Blend

Protein was by far the easiest part of formulating Mass JYM. Why? Because I’d already done the legwork with Pro JYM! No need to reinvent in the wheel. Mass JYM has the exact same protein blend as Pro JYM: 50% micellar casein + milk protein, 40% whey, and 10% egg white protein. This particular blend will help maximize muscle protein synthesis (MPS) around the clock for greater gains.*

Mass JYM for the Win!

With protein, carbs, and fat all in optimal ratio and from quality sources, Mass JYM is the premier product for packing on size – lean size, that is!
