DELIVERING DHA

While several fish oils provide a decent amount of EPA, few omega-3 products come close to delivering as much DHA per serving as Omega JYM. That’s a shame, because adequate amounts of DHA – in conjunction with EPA – are necessary for reaping all the amazing benefits omega-3 fats can deliver.

4 CAPSULES A DAY, NOT 15

Skimping on DHA (which most fish oil products do) means that you have to take a handful of capsules to get the proper daily amount.

For example, if a fish oil capsule only delivers 150 mg of DHA, you would need to swallow 10 capsules per day, every day. That’s not only a hassle, but it means that you’re ingesting an extra 10-12 grams of fat per day just to get the 1.5 grams (1,500 mg) of DHA you want. Many fish oil/omega-3 products on the market actually require you to consume 12-15 capsules per day to hit 1,500 mg of DHA!

I formulated Omega JYM to provide 375 mg of DHA and EPA per capsule. That means you only need to take four Omega JYM capsules per day to get 1,500 mg of both DHA and EPA. That totals just 5.6 grams of fat per day. Few, if any, other fish oil supplements provide that much DHA per capsule.

DPA: THE OTHER CRITICAL OMEGA-3 FAT

DPA is an elongated form of EPA. The latest science suggests that it plays an important role in reducing inflammation in the body, as well as improving cardiovascular health and even brain function. One study found that DPA intake may play a more significant role in lowering the risk of heart disease than do DHA or EPA. DPA also appears to have a more direct role in reducing inflammation.

DOES YOUR FISH OIL HAVE DPA?

The fish oil you choose should not only provide DPA, but a sufficient amount of it.. Very few fish oil/omega-3 supplements, however, will tell you if they contain DPA, let alone specify how much of it is in the product.

With Omega JYM fish oil, you don’t have to worry about that. Omega JYM provides 75mg of DPA per capsule, which means the recommended four-capsule daily serving of Omega JYM delivers 300mg of DPA.

DON’T WORRY ABOUT MERCURY… OR FISHY BURPS

There’s no need to worry about mercury in Omega JYM. To provide such a potent and pure dose of omega-3s, Omega JYM is put through a process called “molecular distillation.” This safely separates the DHA and EPA from mercury, PCB, dioxins, and other contaminants that may be present in unprocessed fish oil.

This not only provides a more refined and powerful fish oil, but also leaves less odor and taste due to less rancidity and oxidation. Perhaps best of all, you won’t have to deal with the dreaded “fish oil burps” that many people experience with some fish oil products.
