Our commitment

JYM Supplement Science is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards to make our website usable by the widest possible audience.

Conformance status

We aim to conform to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. WCAG defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. jymsupplementscience.com is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA — partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.

Known limitations

Despite our ongoing efforts, some content on jymsupplementscience.com is not fully accessible:

  1. Third-party widgets. Our site uses vendor widgets for product reviews (Yotpo), installment payments (Sezzle), subscriptions (Ordergroove), personalization (Rebuy), email capture (Klaviyo), and customer chat (ConvertFlux). These widgets are vendor-controlled; we have audited them for accessibility and escalated known issues to each vendor. We will update this page as vendors ship fixes.
  2. Shopify-hosted checkout. The checkout flow is hosted by Shopify and our customization options are limited. Shopify reports ongoing accessibility improvements to its checkout experience.
  3. Some marketing videos may lack captions. We are working with our content team to add captions to historical and future videos.
  4. Some product images may have missing or non-descriptive alt text. We are completing an automated and reviewed alt text remediation for the full product catalog.
  5. Translated content. Accessibility-related UI strings (such as “opens in new window” announcements) are currently translated for English.

  • Manual screen reader testing with NVDA on Chrome (Windows) and VoiceOver on Safari (macOS)
  • Code review against WCAG 2.1 Level AA success criteria
  • Programmatic color-contrast checks
